How do I get to the hotel?

Arriving by PLANE.

From the airport, take the S8 ‘S-Bahn’ (suburban train, runs every 20 minutes, journey time 31 minutes) to ‘Ostbahnhof’ (Munich East). Take the exit ‘Belfortstrasse’ and the hotel is on your right-hand side.

Arriving by PUBLIC TRANSPORT.

Take the train, metro, bus or tram to ‘Ostbahnhof’ (Munich East). The hotel is located directly opposite the ‘Ostbahnhof’ (train station Munich East) at Orleansplatz.

Arriving by CAR.*

Take the ‘Mittlerer Ring’ (Munich’s ring road) to Rosenheimer Strasse. After around two kilometers, turn right into Orleansstraße. The hotel is situated directly opposite the station.

How do I get to the garage?

In case you travel by car, please use the hotel guest loading/unloading spaces in front of the hotel and ask at reception for the key to the garage.

Until what time can I check-in?

Our reception is available 24/7. You can check-in from 14:00 hrs until late at night.

What happens with my room in case I arrive after 6:00 pm?

Your room will be kept free until 18:00 am on the day of your arrival. After 18:00 pm the reservation will be canceled automatically, free of charge. There is no claim on the room(s). In case you arrive after 18:00 please give us a call.

Are the rooms in the hotel air conditioned?

No, our house was built in 1890 and is a listed historic building. While constantly improving the hotel, we make every effort to keep its charm. However, due to the imposed restrictions for being listed, it is virtually impossible to install air conditioning in guest rooms. In general, this is not an issue as the hotel has the advantage of very think outer walls that do not heat up easily. However, when temperatures soar for many weeks and there is no relief from the heat, even our “cooling core” reaches its limits. That’s why you will find high quality and quiet fans in the rooms on hot days. If this is not the case, a fan can be provided upon request at the reception.

Can I check out any later than 12:00 am?

A later check-out can be requested at the reception and is subject to availability. If you wish to leave after 12:00 a fee of 30 € will be charged.

Is there a room to store my luggage?

Yes, we can keep your luggage in the hotel for a few hours after check-out. The reception is there to assist you.

Can I invite external guest to have breakfast with me?

You are welcome to invite external guests for breakfast. The price per person is 12€. Please inform our reception in advance, so that we can reserve appropriate places.

Is there a hair dryer in the room?

Yes, every bathroom is equipped with a hair dryer.

Is there a laundry service?

No, but iron and ironing board can be requested free of charge upon availability at the reception and a dry cleaner is in walking distance from the hotel.
